Every industry has its icons. In the photography and fitness modeling world one of them is George Kontaxis. His work is incredibly beautiful, sensually sophisticated, and its distinctive signature style is easily recognized without even seeing George’s logo. The beautiful landscape backgrounds, sepia colors, sculpted bodies in a natural surroundings, George’s work is the body of art.

It was one of my dreams to shoot with George and see how he can portrait me through his lens. To be quiet honest with you, I was nervous before our photo shoot and I am modeling for a very long time. Understandingly so, you see, George Kontaxis shot the best of the best in the fitness industry and some of the biggest fitness icons, and for me being invited to work with him in the gorgeous location of Red Canyons was a huge honor.

After two weeks of intense training and strict dieting (visit me tomorrow for my pre-photo shoot plan), a layer of a spray tan, I was on the plane to Las Vegas to meet with one of the hottest photographers in the industry.

A little bit more about George Kontaxis. He comes from Greece and lives in LA, California, pursuing acting career and holding one of the top spots in the photography arena worldwide. His work has been featured in covers, editorials and advertising of the National and International magazines. His art has also been featured in art books, calendars, exhibits and art galleries. His unique style combines the art of physique and high fashion photography. Hence, you understand my excitement about this project!

Interestingly enough, all we had for our shoot was George’s incredible talent and his camera, beautiful location, and me No elaborate equipment, no assistants, no make-up artists, no stylists… just raw talent, on both sides of the camera, haha!

Although, I am doing so much more than modeling, I truly love being in front of the camera. It’s like playing a dress up, acting and transforming an ordinary moment into a piece of art, all at once.

I believe that any creation can become an art, if you are very passionate about it and give it your all. Hope, you enjoy our creative collaboration with George
