This is my second pregnancy and we are expecting a beautiful baby girl – just what we wanted :-)

When it comes to pregnancy, there is so much going on with your body, it can be overwhelming.

Nausea, morning sickness, lower back pains, joint aches, water retention, uncontrollable appetite

and constant fatigue… Having fun yet?

Of course, you do!

Because no matter how difficult your pregnancy can be, your excitement about new baby is always greater!

Besides, all the side effects of pregnancy can be avoided or helped tremendously

with all the tips I am going to share with you here :-)

Trick Your Kids!


And Stop The Vegetable Battle!

As a fitness enthusiast you already know how important it is to get your daily dose of greens, and I am sure you pack your fridge with all kinds of vegetables and green beauties, including a serving of veggies in every balanced meal of yours.


However, as a parent, aren’t you tired of trying to get the ‘green message’ to your kids hearts?

Because, let’s face it, not every kid loves veggies! My kids are no different…


Here is how I tricked my kids into having one of the healthiest foods and ask for more:


Black Cherry Spinach Smoothie




  • Plain Fat Free  Greek Yogurt – 1 cup
  • Black Cherries Frozen – 1 cup
  • Vanilla Almond Milk – 2 cups
  • Fresh Spinach – 2 cups

Coconut Aloe Water

This is what helps me wake up and feel amazing every morning!


Water intake is crucial to our well-being and as a busy mommy I take mine seriously, I simply can’t afford to be groggy and fatigue  in the morning.

I am a huge fan of coconut water, and living in South California gives me an opportunity to buy coconuts all year round.

Coconuts are full of natural electrolyte potassium and often called nature’s sport drink. You can use it during or after workouts, but I would love for you to blend it with fresh aloe vera and drink it first thing in the morning.


Aloe vera is probably the most impressive medicinal herb in the world. Its health benefits beat garlic and do wonders in so many various health areas.

It lowers bad cholesterol, boost the oxygenation of blood, alkalizes the body, helping to balance overly acidic dietary habits (all those guilty treats and processed foods); nourishes the body with vitamins, minerals, enzymes and glyconutrients, it heals, it ends constipation, and it hydrates the skin and accelerates skin repair.


I can go on and on about this miracle plant :), but instead I will share the recipe that will combine the powers coconut and aloe and help you start your day the healthy way!

Healthy French Toast

Healthy French Toast?

Yes, I believe that you can make any dish healthy, if you get creative and substitute unhealthy ingredients with a healthy ones.

I love French Toast, it’s a perfect Sunday morning meal, BUT I refuse to eat junk and sabotage my whole day from the very beginning,

therefore, I came up with this yummy recipe.

Here is the recipe:

Ezekiel Bread Sprouted – 1 slice

Organic Egg Whites – 1/2 cup

Vanilla Extract – 1/4 tsp

Cinnamon Powder – 1/4 tsp

Organic Raw Honey – 1 tsp (optional)

Olive Oil Spray
